2. The Parched
Crow
In the scorching hot day,
a crow flew for a long time hither and thither looking for water. He felt too
exhausted, almost gave up hope when he couldn't find any water. Suddenly, he
saw a pitcher in a field. The pitcher had meagre water. He found impossible to
touch the level of water; he tried again and again but couldn't. But his witty
mind got an idea. Looking around, he saw some pebbles. He suddenly started
picking up the pebbles one by one, dropping each into the pitcher. As the level
of the water was moving up, his surge of enthusiasm was also increasing as
well. Now the level of water was up enough to touch with his beak. The crow
glugged down the water and his thirst were quenched soon. His satiety, he got by
his wit and idea made him really proud of himself.
