49. The
Farmer's Cat
A farmer had some cats to
sell. He was hanging a board for advertisement. There came a little boy to buy
a cat but was avoided by saying that the cost of cats was too exorbitant to
afford for him. The boy delved hard into his pocket to take out the money and
gave it to the farmer. The farmer took the boy to a room where all the cats
were kept. The boy was given a beautiful cat, but soon the boy noticed a
disabled cat and decided to choose that cat. On asking that why he chose that
cat, he replied, “You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need
someone who can understand him.”
