106. The
Dalmatian and the Dolphin
A very proud
sailor and his wife made a plan to go for a long journey through their splendid
ship. Being her favourite and loving pet, she took her Dalmatian along with
them. When they were far out at sea, a terrible storm overturned their ship. Both
the husband and the wife were caught in this tormented calamity and sank but
luckily the dog, Dalmatian was saved and taken to the sea shore by a dolphin.
Soon the dog reached the island on the dolphin's back who asked, “Do you know
this place?” The Dalmatian replied affirmatively, “One of my best friends is
the king of this island. Do you know that I am actually a prince?" Knowing
that no one lived on the island, the dolphin said, “Now you can be a king
rather than a prince.” The dog curiously asked how it was possible. The dolphin
started swimming away. “As you are the only creature on this island, you will
naturally be the king!” the dolphin answered.
