136. The
Four Wives
A king had four
bewitchingly beautiful wives whom he loved very much. The fourth queen being so
young was so attractive and gorgeous. The third wife had brought abundant
wealth in her dowry. But the fourth queen was adorned much by the king. The
second queen was so sagacious. She gave him a son, so he loved her a lot. But
the first queen had lost her charm. Yet, she cared for the king selflessly. In
spite of showing dedication the first queen was never given love by the king.
Time passed; the king got a major injury in his belly and was in his last
stage. Then the king asked all his queens to be his companions, but all the
three pretended. The fourth one flew to her father's house. The third queen
left his kingdom, the second one used her mind to escape, but the first queen
pluckily agreed to go with him forever.
Moral:
Actually, we all have four wives in our life. The fourth wife is our body, the
third wife is our profession, the second wife is our family but the first wife
is our soul that lives with us till death and never lets us feel alone.
