30. The Rose #Inspirational Moral Stories
Carolyn was very ill. The doctor advised, "Walk around
and be active. You will feel better." But Carolyn was sad. She would lie
in her bed and cry all day. Her grandfather saw this. He wanted to cheer her
up. So he brought a rose plant and kept it on the windowsill. "When I am
not visiting, it is up to you to water the plant and take care of it," he
said. Carolyn liked the plant. One day, it rained. "My plant will get
wet," she said and put it on her bedside table. The next day, when the sun
shone, she put it back on the windowsill. Carolyn was feeling better with each
passing day. One day, a tiny flower bloomed. Carolyn became happy. That day,
when her grandfather visited her, she said, "Look Grandpa, there's my
rose!" Her grandfather hugged her and said, "Here's mine!"
Moral of the Story: The moral of the story is that taking care of something, even
a small plant, can bring joy and help improve one's mood.
