38. Lazy Libby #Inspirational Moral Stories
Libby was a lazy girl. She was also sloppy. She left her
toys everywhere. Her mother always asked her to put her toys in the toy-box,
but Libby wouldn't listen. One day, her mother said, "If you wouldn't put
each of your toys back in its place, I will donate it to the needy." But
Libby's toys were everywhere. Soon, her toys began disappearing. She would ask
her mother: "Mommy, where's my blue turtle?" "Mommy, where's my
squeaky monkey?" "Mommy, where's my drum?" Her mother asked her
in return, "Remember, what I had told you? Why was it lying around outside
the toy-box?" Soon, Libby began to take heed of her mother's words. She
realised that her mother had a lot of work and that she must not trouble her by
making her mother clean up after her play. Libby learnt her lesson and not one
of her toys would be out of place.
