43. The Homework Thief #Inspirational Moral Stories
Amy loved to study. But she dreaded going to school. She
began making excuses every other day to avoid going to school. Her parents were
worried. They asked her what was wrong, but she would not say anything. One
day, Amy told her elder sister about her predicament. "There's a bully
named Vera in my class. She steals my homework and shows it to the teacher as
her own. She gets good grades with my work, whereas my grades are going
low." Amy's sister told her, "I have an idea." Then she
whispered in her ear. Next day, when Vera came to steal Amy's homework, Amy
willingly gave it. The teacher was angry with Vera because all the answers were
wrong. Then Vera blurted out, "Those answers aren't mine. They are
Amy's." This made the teacher even angrier. She took Vera to the dean.
Vera never dared to bully anyone again.
