50. Teething Troubles #Inspirational Moral Stories
Beth had a baby sister, Leslie. She loved her sister a lot
and played with her after school. Leslie was teething. She would feel the need
to chew on things every now and then. One day, when Beth was at school, Leslie
crawled into Beth's room. She toppled the toy basket and chewed an arm off
Beth's doll. When Beth came home, she saw her favourite toy in Leslie's mouth.
Beth screamed at Leslie and snatched the doll from her hands. Leslie started
crying loudly. Their mother rushed to the spot and asked Beth what had happened.
Beth showed her the half-chewed doll and said, "I scolded her." Their
mother picked Leslie up and calmed her down. Then she explained to Beth,
"Leslie is teething. She will chew on things frequently during this time
as that will lessen her pain. She did not chew your doll deliberately."
Beth understood this and cuddled Leslie.
