51. Diana Gets a Haircut #Inspirational Moral Stories
Diana loved fairy tales. The one she loved most was that of
Rapunzel. She would ask her mother to read it for her every night.
"Mother, my hair should be as long as Rapunzel's." But her mother
would say, "No dear, you should cut your hair regularly. You are too small
to have long and lustrous locks as Rapunzel had." "No, I want long hair
now!" she cried. Mother was tired of telling her the same things over and
over. Time passed. Diana did not trim her hair. It grew very long. One day,
Diana was playing hide-and-seek with her friends. She hid among some thorny
bushes. When it was time to come out, she couldn't, because her hair was caught
in the thorns. She screamed for help. All her friends came running to her and
disentangled her hair little by little. Diana went home and said, "Mother,
I want a haircut now!"
