54. A Speck of Sand #Inspirational Moral Stories
When God created the world, there was a lot of greenery in
it. The world was full of fertile land. There were huge forests, with trees
that bore juicy fruit. There were lovely gardens with flowers of different
kinds. There were lovely meadows all around. God then created all the water
bodies, such as ponds, rivers and seas. Then came animals, birds and insects.
God wanted someone to take care of the world. So He created human beings. Before
sending them to Earth, He said, "For every sin you commit, I will put a
speck of sand on Earth. Beware." But humans did not care. They lived as
they pleased, thinking, "What's the harm in a speck of sand?" God,
true to His words, began sprinkling a speck of sand for each sin committed by
humans. Soon, the fertile land turned into huge stretches of barren land.
Today, we call them deserts.
