56. The Little Brown Nut #Inspirational Moral Stories
Pinky and Chloe were playing outdoors. They were chasing
chipmunks and running around trees when Chloe saw a little brown nut, lying
under a tree, not too far away. She ran towards the nut. She had barely picked
it up when Pinky reached there and snatched it away. "It's mine! I saw it
first," cried Chloe. But I'm older than you. So I should have it,"
reasoned Pinky. Their neighbour, Myra, saw them quarrelling. She offered to
sort out the matter and said, "Show me the nut." Myra cracked the
shell into two pieces and ate the kernel. "This is what I get for settling
your quarrel," she said. Then she gave one half of the shell to Chloe and
the other half to Pinky. "There you are. No more fighting, girls!"
said Myra, and she waved goodbye. Pinky and Chloe realised that Myra had taken
advantage of them. But it was too late.
Moral of the Story: The story conveys the moral lesson that it's important to
