67. Sylvia, the Special Child #Inspirational Moral Stories
Sylvia's parents took great care of her. She was a girl
with special needs and needed extra attention. She could not speak properly and
took a lot of time to express herself. Sylvia's parents had told her teachers
about her, so they could be sensitised to her needs. Her teachers also made
sure that none was harsh to her. There were some mean girls in Sylvia's class.
They knew she had no friends. So, they told her, "We will play with you every
day if you get into that puddle." Sylvia was excited to have new friends. So,
she did as the mean girls told and began splashing about in the puddle. The
mean girls laughed at her as she got dirty. Then the mean girls said, "Let's
go home." Just then, their teacher's voice boomed, "How dare you bully
the poor child?" The girls helped Sylvia out of the puddle and wiped her
clean.
Moral of the Story: The story highlights the importance of empathy, kindness, and
standing up against bullying.
