71. A Trip to the Library #Inspirational Moral Stories
Charlotte was a simple girl, who had an unusual streak of innocence.
Charlotte was very fond of reading and made frequent trips to the library. One
day, she borrowed a book from the library. When she went back home, she tried
to read it, but she did not like it at all. When, even after a week, she was
unable to finish it, she rushed to the library to get a new book. She went to
the librarian and said, "You should take this book off the list and
replace it with something that people will enjoy." The librarian asked, "Why?"
"It is so boring! It has so many names and numbers that just go on and on.
My head is still reeling from reading all those names. At least I tried. But I don't
think anyone else will," Charlotte said. The librarian opened the book and
realised that it was his lost phone-book.
Moral of the Story: The story highlights the importance of not jumping to
conclusions and making judgments without fully understanding a situation or
context.
