79. Bad Fishing Experience #Inspirational Moral Stories
Judith went fishing one day. She waited all day, but could
not catch a single fish. 'What will I cook for dinner? Everyone will make fun
of me at home,' she thought. Then she had an idea. She stopped by the fish
market on her way back home and asked for two trouts. She told the fishmonger, "My
husband and children needn't know that I had a bad day at fishing. I can show them
the trouts and tell them I spent the whole day looking for these." The
fishmonger said, "In that case, I suggest you take home the catfish."
"Why?" asked Judith. The fishmonger replied, "Your husband and children
were here a while ago. They guessed you must have had a bad fishing day and
must be exhausted. They told me that you should take catfish, if you came by,
since you can prepare it in a jiffy." Judith was embarrassed.
