84. Hazel's Happiness #Inspirational Moral Stories
Hazel was a sweet girl and everyone loved her. One day, her
fairy godmother came to visit her. "I bless you with eternal happiness,"
she said. This is one more reason to smile, but strangely Hazel stopped smiling
from that day on. She would never laugh or tell funny stories. She thought the happiness
she had been blessed with would decrease if she shared it with others. Soon
enough, she grew sad and lonely. Her fairy godmother came to visit her again.
She said, "Hazel, I blessed you with happiness because I wanted you to share
it. Happiness grows when you share it with others." Hazel was puzzled. The
fairy godmother said, "What will happen if you keep a seed in a jar?
Nothing. But if you plant it in the soil, it grows into a big tree. Similarly,
when you laugh, play or smile with others, your joy increases manifold."
Moral of the Story: True happiness multiplies when shared with others.
