88.Dewdrop, the Fairy #Inspirational Moral Stories
There was a fairy named Dewdrop. Her wings were as soft as
dew and whenever she was around, the air smelt fresh, clean and dewy. That's
because it was Dewdrop's job to make sure the air was healthy and clean. There
was a time when Dewdrop thought she was too good for her job. She then tried to
take on the job of other fairies as well. She was always flying around
restlessly, telling others how to do their job. One day, the Fairy Queen heard of
this and summoned her. "Why does the air smell so foul nowadays? Aren't
you cleaning the air every day?" Dewdrop said, "No, Your
Majesty." The Fairy Queen said, "Your talent lies in providing
everyone with clean air. It is a huge responsibility. Don't take it
lightly." Dewdrop realised her mistake. She made sure the air was always
fresh and let others do their work.
Moral of the Story: It is important to recognize and value one's own unique
talents and responsibilities instead of trying to take on tasks that do not
suit one's abilities.
