89. The English Test #Inspirational Moral Stories
Twila had been ill. So she hadn't been able to study for
the English test. That day, before she went to school, she wanted to tell her
mother about it, but could not. The English teacher walked in and said "Hope
you all are ready for the test!" Twila took a deep breath. When the teacher
gave her the question paper, she looked at it and sighed. She did not know the answers.
She thought she would fail. She was a brilliant student and the thought of
failing made her feel miserable. Twila turned around. She could see the answers
of the girl sitting behind her. She wanted to copy all her answers. But Twila
was an honest girl. She read the question paper again and tried to remember
what her teacher had taught during the lesson. She answered to the best of her
ability. Twila did not fail in the test.
Moral of the
Story: Honesty and integrity are more important
than achieving success through dishonest means.
