92. Tie them up #Inspirational Moral Stories
Eulalie was a lazy girl. She did not like to tie her shoelaces.
Whenever she wore shoes, her mother would remind her to tie them, but she would
always reply, "I hate bending down to tie the laces, Mom!" One day, she
wore her best hat and shoes. Then she said to her mother, "I'm off to
play." As usual, she had not tied her shoelaces. "Eulalie, tie your
shoelaces," said her mother. But Eulalie pretended not to listen. She
placed the hat firmly on her head and went towards the hill, with her shoelaces
undone. While walking up the hill, Eulalie tripped on her shoelaces. She fell all
the way down, at the foot of the hill. Her clothes were dirty she was hurt. She
went running to her mother and said, "I fell down!" Her mother said,
"If only you had tied your shoelaces, dear." From that day on Eulalie
always listened to her mother.
