103. Irma's Inspiration #Inspirational Moral Stories
Irma reached home after a football-practice session.
"How is my little angel?" asked her father. She said, "Daddy, I
can't do it! The practice sessions really tire me." Her father said,
"But you always wanted to be on the school team. What happened?"
"I don't think I am good enough to play football," Irma replied.
Irma's father said, "Football was your dream. Everyone has a goal. We have
to fight for what we believe in. But we get disheartened because we want
everything to be easy. We can never achieve greatness if everything comes
easily to us. We will never understand the value of success. We are given troubles
to hone our skills. But we don't understand this. We stop trying. Laziness, fear,
doubt and indecision are our biggest enemies. Don't let them keep you from your
dream. Never give up." Irma was inspired. She resumed her football
practice feeling confident and determined.
Moral of the Story: Perseverance, determination, and overcoming self-doubt are
key to achieving one's goals.
