107. The Race #Inspirational Moral Stories
Tessa loved sports. Among all the sports in her school, she
loved running. She wanted to be the fastest runner in her class. But Tessa
never practiced. As a result, no matter how hard she ran, she always lost in
every competition. One day, she told her parents, "I can never win any
race." Her mother said, "Tessa, don't give up so easily. You can achieve
whatever you want, provided you follow it up with determination and hard work."
Tessa said, "I want to win the next race at school." Her father said,
"Why don't you begin training from tomorrow?" Tessa began training
under her father's guidance. She ran a mile every day with him. On the day of
the race, everyone was surprised to see Tessa dash past the rest of the class.
Tessa won the race. She went home and thanked her parents. From that day on,
Tessa never gave up on anything.
