108. The Stain #Inspirational Moral Stories
Elsie loved to play with her sister's belongings. Whenever
her sister wasn't home, Elsie would sneak into her sister's room. There, she
would play with her sister's clothes and make-up. No one found out about Elsie's
escapades because she would arrange her sister's belongings just as they were.
One day, Elsie slipped into her sister's top. While she was fiddling with the eyeliner,
she accidentally spilt it on the top. Elsie was scared. "I have landed in
trouble. What shall I do now? This top will be ruined," she cried. Elsie's
mother heard her. She went to her and asked what the matter was. Elsie explained
everything to her mother and said, "The stain is only getting worse. The sister
will be furious when she sees this!" Her mother said, "I will clean
the top. But you should promise me never to touch or use anyone's belongings
without his/her permission." Elsie had learnt her lesson.
Moral of the Story: Respect others' belongings and always ask for permission
before using them.
