116. The Telescope #Inspirational Moral Stories
Leila was an intelligent girl. Her parents believed that
she would become great one day. When the girls of her age were busy playing
with dolls, Leila would have her nose buried in science books. When her friends
would be listening to bedtime stories, Leila would gaze at the stars. She loved
to perch on top of the terrace and look at the stars. Hours would pass by doing
thus. She was wonderstruck by them. Leila's parents watched her every night as
she would gaze at the night sky. One day, Leila said to her parents, "The
stars are so beautiful! Last night, I dreamt that I was holding a star in my
hands. I wonder if I can just pluck two stars and give them to Mom as
ear-rings!" Seeing Leila's love for stars, her parents bought her a
telescope for her birthday. Leila was even more excited and began to observe
them every day.
