119. The Leprechaun #Inspirational Moral Stories
Jeannette had a farm. She lived with her old parents.
Jeannette's parents loved her, but she did not care for them. One year,
Jeannette reaped a rich harvest from her farm. She became wealthy. She did not
want to share her money with anybody. So, she drove her parents away. Her
parents said, "You have become proud and mean." But Jeannette was in
no mood to listen. So, her parents went to live in the forest near by and wailed.
A leprechaun heard them. He gifted them a cottage and a farm and said,
"These are for you." Then he gave them a huge loaf of bread and
vanished. When the old parents bit into the bread, a storm swept through
Jeannette's neighborhood. Jeannette came to them crying and asking for forgiveness.
"The storm swept away all that I had, along with my pride and meanness,"
she said. Her parents lovingly took her home with them.
Moral of the Story: It is important to value and care for your loved ones, as wealth
and pride can lead to loneliness and loss.
