95. The Fruit Garden #Inspirational Moral Stories
Daphne had a beautiful house with a huge fruit garden. But
Daphne's neighbour was jealous of her. Every day, she would peep into her fruit
garden and throw loads of rubbish. Then she would rush back into her house. One
day, the neighbour took things a bit too far. Daphne had kept a bucket near the
fence to collect rainwater. Her neighbour threw her garbage right into the
bucket! Daphne's husband saw this. He was furious. But Daphne asked him to calm
down. She went to the garden and emptied the bucket. Then she washed it and
filled it with fruit. She went to her neighbour's house and said, "Thanks
for all the garbage you've been throwing in our garden. There has never been a
shortage of manure for my fruit trees. Here, enjoy some fresh fruit. Those who
are rich always share their wealth with others." Daphne's neighbour was ashamed.
She never troubled her again.
Moral of the Story: Instead of retaliating against negativity or jealousy,
respond with kindness and generosity to resolve conflicts.
