133. The Curse #Inspirational Moral Stories
Two sisters lived near the forest. One day, their father
fell ill. Their mother asked the elder sister to bring some wild berries and
herbs from the forest. "I will prepare a medicine for your father,"
she said. The elder sister went into the forest, but she lost her way. Around
dusk, she came upon a hut, which belonged to an old man. She ate his food and
slept on his bed. The old man was angry. So he locked her up in the cow shed. The
next day, the younger sister went into the woods. She saw the hut and the old man.
She cooked a meal for him and made his bed. The old man turned into a prince and
said, ''A witch had cursed me, but your kindness saved me. I shall free your
sister. .Will you marry me?" The younger sister agreed and they all lived
happily ever after.
