143. Lazy Suzanne #Inspirational Moral Stories
Suzanne was a lazy girl. She never got ready for school on
time. She never finished her homework on time, either. Her teachers would try
to make her understand the importance of punctuality, but she never listened.
One day, her mother warned her, "If you don't shrug your laziness away,
you will repent one day." Suzanne did not heed her advice and continued to
play. One day, Suzanne's class teacher announced that a picnic had been
organised for all the children. Suzanne asked her parents whether she could go
on the picnic and they agreed. On the day of the picnic, Suzanne's mother woke
her up. But Suzanne said, "Mother, let me sleep some more time!" Her
mother said, "Suzanne, don't be lazy or you will miss the bus."
Suzanne got ready, but she was late for school. When she reached, the bus had already
left with all her friends in it. She was never lazy again.
Moral of the Story: The story highlights the importance of punctuality and the
consequences of laziness. It teaches that being lazy can lead to missing out on
