145. The Two Wolves #Inspirational Moral Stories
One day, Brenda came home crying. Her grandfather asked
her, "What happened, my child?" Brenda replied, "Grandpa, I am
angry with my best friend Lisa. She was unfair to me." Her grandfather
said, "When I was young, I was like you. I would get angry if someone
would wrong me. But sometimes I would get so angry for little things that I
could not think straight. On one such day, one of my friends saw me. He told me
that there are two wolves within every human being. One of the wolves is good.
He will only fight when it is right and in the right way. But the other wolf
cannot look beyond his anger. It is hard to live with these two wolves, as both
want our attention." "Which wolf wins, Grandpa?" asked Brenda.
"The one I feed," he replied. Brenda understood the moral and became
a peace-loving girl.
Moral of the Story: The story teaches the importance of controlling one's anger
and emotions. It conveys that people have both good and bad aspects within
them, and the one that prevails depends on the choices they make.
