93. Life and
Money
A well-known speaker with
₹20, started a seminar in the room of 200 students and asked who would like
that ₹20. All raised their hands, but crumbling the note he asked who still
wanted it. Still, the hands were up in the air. Again, he dropped the ₹20 on
the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. Picking a
filthy and crumbled note he asked again, “Who still wants it?" Still, the
hands went up into the air. Then he started to describe the main purpose doing
that, “My friends, we have all learnt a very valuable lesson. No matter what
was done to the money, it was still wanted because it did not decrease in
value. It was still worth ₹20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped,
crumpled and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make for the
circumstances that come in our way. We may feel as though we are worthless. But
we would not feel disheartened even in face of dangers.”
Moral: Our life is as significant as money.
